This book is an attempt to present the poetry of the sixteenth and seventeenth century poetry in a very clear intelligible language. It is our firm belief that the students will get clear idea about the trend of poetry writing during this period. The summaries of all the poems of the syllabus are presented for the benefit of the students. It is also attempted to give idea about the poets Sufficient number of university questions along with the answers are also given for the preparation of the exam. Elaborate discussion of all the poets will be very helpful for the students. Broad questions are enriched with the quotations of the poems. All possible questions likely to be set in the question papers are included in the book.
